Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 10, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how SkyMetrics ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects personal data when you visit skymetrics.cloud or submit a demo request through our contact form. We are committed to protecting your privacy and complying with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Data Controller

The data controller responsible for your personal data is:

SkyMetrics

Gdańsk, Poland

Email: contact@skymetrics.cloud

2. Data We Collect

We collect personal data only when you voluntarily submit our Request a Demo form. The data collected includes:

  • First name: To address you personally in our response.
  • Company name: To understand your organisation and tailor our proposal.
  • Work email address: To send you our response and inspection proposal.
  • Installed capacity (MW): To assess the scope of a potential inspection.
  • Optional message: Any additional context you choose to share.

We also collect standard server logs (IP address, browser type, referring URL) through Vercel's hosting infrastructure for security and performance monitoring purposes.

3. Legal Basis for Processing

We process your personal data on the basis of legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) — specifically, to respond to your commercial enquiry and provide information about our inspection services. By submitting the form you acknowledge that you have read this policy.

4. How We Use Your Data

We use your data exclusively to:

  • Respond to your demo request within 2 business hours.
  • Prepare a tailored inspection proposal for your solar farm.
  • Follow up on the status of your enquiry if we do not hear back.

We do not use your data for marketing purposes, profiling, or automated decision-making.

5. Third-Party Data Processors

We use the following third-party services that may process your data on our behalf:

Web3Forms

Form submission handler — transmits form data to our email inbox.

Vercel

Website hosting — serves this website and processes server logs.

6. Data Retention

We retain your contact data for a maximum of 12 months from the date of submission. If no commercial relationship is established within that period, your data is deleted. If a contract is signed, data is retained for the duration required by applicable law.

7. Your Rights Under GDPR

As a data subject you have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Rectification: Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Erasure: Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").
  • Restriction: Ask us to restrict processing of your data.
  • Portability: Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Objection: Object to processing based on legitimate interest.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at contact@skymetrics.cloud. We will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Polish Data Protection Authority (UODO) at uodo.gov.pl.

8. Cookies

This website does not use tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or advertising cookies. Vercel may set technical cookies strictly necessary for the operation of the website. No consent banner is required as no non-essential cookies are used.
